Agodi GRA home of Abiola Ajimobi has been taken over by police officers from the Oyo State Command.
The Ex-Governor’s family chose the property as their preferred location to bury their late patriarch but the state government due to litigation over ownership didn’t approve.
The Nation reported that when its reporters visited the place, two police vehicles, a Hilux patrol van of the State Anticrime outfit, Operation Burst and a white Kia Rio used for State Security patrol were parked beside the building with stern- looking security operatives.
Information gathered reveal the occupation of the property by the security operatives may be connected to the family’s insistence to bury the late Governor of the state in it.
The sources also hinted that the police officers could be manning the property to prevent any form of disobedience or forceful entry by family or associates of late Senator Ajimobi.
