Ben Bruce Reveals How Senator Buruji Kasamu Died
Senator Buruji Kasamu has died and his colleague , Senator Ben Murray-Bruce who called the late Senator a good friend has revealed how the lawmaker kicked the bucket.
Ben Bruce who announced the death of Senator Buruji Kasamu on Twitter wrote :
“I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.”

The Senator according to Ben Bruce died of COVID-19 . NAIJA NEWS NG learnt that Buruji Kasamu had diabetes and high blood pressure . He represented Ogun-East senatorial district between 2015 and 2019, he also flew the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party , PDP as governorship candidate in the 2019 gubernatorial election . He was born on 19 May 1958 and died today 8 August 2020 .
So far three powerful Nigerian politicians have died at the First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos , they are Buruji Kasamu , former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi and the President’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari .
You would recall that Senator Buruji Kasamu was facing extradition for alleged drug trafficking before his death .
