Inter state travel ban which was enforced by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 is still in place.
Naija News NG reports that the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustpha, has urged security officers to continue enforcing the travel ban.
Boss Mustapha gave this directive on Monday while briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja .
The PTF Chairman said : “We also appeal to the security agents to enforce the ban on interstate travel very strictly.”
The Presidential Assistant on New Media , Bashir Amed , had hinted that the ban could be lifted on June 21 by the Federal Government.
Nigeria recorded 573 new Coronavirus cases yesterday, June 15 with Lagos State’s number at 216 .
