EDO 2020 : PDP Grants Obaseki Waiver, Shifts Primary
Edo 2020 is now favoring Governor Godwin Obaseki as PDP has granted him and waiver to contest in the forthcoming primary .
Naija News NG reports that the PDP announced this Edo 2020 election development on Twitter, Friday . The party has also shifted the gubernatorial primary to Thursday June 25th. Read their words below:
“Edo Guber: PDP Grants Waiver To Obaseki…Shifts Primary to Thursday June 25 The National Working Committee (NWC) of the @OfficialPDPNig has granted waiver to @GovernorObaseki to contest the Edo governorship election primary.
The action of the NWC is pursuant to Section 29(2)(b) of the @OfficialPDPNig constitution and in exercise of the powers of the National Executive Committee (NEC) under Section (50)(3)(b) of the PDP constitution.
The NWC in exercise of the above powers has ratified the application for waiver by the ward, local government & state executives of the party in the state and accordingly grants waiver to H. E. Governor @GovernorObaseki to enable him contest the gubernatorial primary of the PDP
Also the NWC has further shifted the Edo state governorship primary from an earlier slated date of Tuesday, June 23 to a new date of Thursday June 25, 2020.”

Governor Obaseki earlier today picked his form at the PDP Secretariat in Benin City. The Oba of Benin also warned against any form of godfatherism and imposition of candidates .

NAIJA NEWS NG reports that these are the first pictures of the former Rivers State Governor since he lost the APC Presidential Primary and got replaced as the Minister of Transportation.

NAIJA NEWS NG reports that the Kogi Politician said in a Tweet that Ike Ekweremadu notified the British authority on his trip with the boy so he stands with him.
You would recall that NAIJA NEWS NG reported that the former Deputy Senate President in a document obtained by this media platformed explained that his daughter Sonia Ekweremadu needs kidney transplant and one David Ukpo , who is 21 years old agreed to be a donor .

The document shows that Ekweremadu applied for visa for David Ukpo on December 28, 2021.
The letter that accompanied the visa application of an alleged homeless child showed that Senator Ike Ekweremadu informed the UK authorities that he was taking the person abroad for a kidney transplant for his daughter.
