Results from Edo gubernatorial election has started trickling in from the center of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Benin City, the capital of Edo.
NAIJA NEWS NG reports that the electorates are anxiously waiting for the results . INEC said the delay in receipt of collated results from LGAs was due to delay of collation at the state level .
The election was keenly contested between the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and the incumbent Governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Godwin Obaseki
However, collation started in the early hours of Sunday.
