IPOB Founder and Supreme leader, Nnamdi Kanu , is in fresh trouble as the Federal Government is set to begin his trial today.
NAIJA NEWS NG reports that the trial will begin today Thursday November 26 .
Ahead of the court sitting in which five prosecution witnesses have been lined up to testify against Nnamdi Kanu , copies of the hearing notice were served on the prosecution team in the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation and Kanu ’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Recall that Justice Binta Nyako had since March 28, 2019, revoked the bail granted the IPOB leader, ordered his arrest, and directed that his trial on charges of a treasonable felony would proceed in his absence; but the court had not had any sitting on the case since then.
