Atiku Abubakar former Vice President and presidential candidate of the PDP has knocked Buhari’s deregulation policy.
NAIJA NEWS NG reports that the successful Entrepreneur cum politician tweeted question to the Federal Government asking why fuel pump price hasn’t crashed if the government really deregulated the sector.
You will recall that the Federal Government said the reason for the fuel price increase was because it suspended the fuel subsidy on petroleum products and deregulated the petroleum sector.
In a tweet this morning, the former Vice President pointed out that fuel prices in US and Europe are far lower than they were in 2019.

”I am a businessman. I look at things from an economic perspective. Questions beg answers. The price of crude is down from where it was in 2019. In the US and Europe, fuel prices are far lower than they were in 2019. If we truly deregulated, shouldn’t fuel price have dropped?” he tweeted
