However, let your Bank(s) know that you’re planning to Japa. Yes, let them know. They’re not your víllage people. They won’t let out your secret.
Tell them, it will save you some Banking stress from Abroad.
Three things you should do with your Bank once your trip is assured, are:
1. Get your Credit/Debit Card, and request for it to be “opened” for transactions abroad.

This enables you to use your card abroad.
2. Get your Email/Cheque Indemnity placed on your account before you leave.
This enables you to send some instructions via email, and upon confirmation by the Bank that such instructions emanated from you, such instructions will be honored.
3. Get your Token mapped, and possibly link your account(s) to your Bank App.
This way, you can always use your Token even while away.
You can also access all of your accounts from the same Bank at a go from one App once you log in.
You must get these things right before you leave because most processes require your physical presence and thumbprints where necessary, to activate them, depending on your Bank.
So when you’re already enjoying yourself at McDonald’s and suddenly remember you want to transfer or carry out some transactions from your Bank Account in Nigeria but can’t, it’s usually not easy to get these things done by proxy, especially for security reasons.
The questions, the stress, and the frustrations that may hït you when you start calling most of the Customer Contact Centres in Nigeria will be better imagined than experienced.
So, if you’re an intending Japarian, best take this advice and do the needful before your trip.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Mercy stated that she only visited the auto shop run by IVD to purchase her 2018 Range Rover Velar that she gifted herself on her 27th birthday in 2020. She also shared videos she made where she returned the car after she found out the car was an accident one that was refurbished and sold to her for N37 million after which she added an extra N2 million to get a better one.
