Nnamdi Kanu led Indigenous People of Biafra members staged another protest today , 8th June 2020 in Aba, Abia State.
Naija News NG can confirm that the IPOB members were protesting against the killing of Christians and Biafrans in Nigeria.
The IPOB members dared the soldiers on all the checkpoints on their way by matching with Biafra and Israeli flags , adorned in Biafran colours. Some were seen carrying native pots suggesting the use of Igbo traditional powers .
Earlier today President Muhammadu Buhari through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, alleged that IPOB members are using cover of Christianity – and calling for a US Special Envoy to be appointed to stop the “genocide” of Christians in Nigeria but the real purpose is to drive a wedge between the Nigeria government and its US and UK/European allies.”
Nnamdi Kanu, Supreme leader of the group in reaction to the petition boasted that IPOB members have destroyed Nigeria and by the time they are done with them, the name Nigeria will cease to exist.
