The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu , has tabled fresh demands to Donald Trump’s government .
NAIJA NEWS NG reports that Nnamdi Kanu has called on the US to appoint a special envoy to protect Christians in Nigeria.
Nnamdi Kanu the IPOB leader, whose group had since been proscribed by the Nigerian Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari, made this call on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday, August 20.
He made this call on micro blogging site, Twitter. His tweeted quoted Open Doors 2020 World Watch List which ranked Nigeria as number one places where Christians are killed for their faith.
Open Doors USA is committed to aiding Persecuted Christians around the globe.
Angered by Nigeria’s rank on the Open Doors USA World Watch List 2020 he said persecution of Christians in Nigeria continues to worsen. He appealed to U.S State Department to appoint a special envoy to help “protect these innocent children, women and men”
