The United Arab Emirate authorities announced the ban on Visas from Nigerians on Friday, October 20 2022 .
Naija News NG learnt Dubai authorities expalined that all Visa applications from Nigerians were halted until problems between Nigerian government and the government of the UAE were sorted.
The authorities informed it partners like travel agencies in Nigeria . It reads :
“All Dubai applications submitted are now rejected. It is general for Nigerians and approvals are on hold at the moment.
“Kindly advise your clients to resubmit C2=A0 applications when the issue is resolved between both governments,” the notice to Nigerian travel agents declared, according to PUNCH.
We gathered that all fees earlier paid by applicants are nonrefundable .
This development has attracted the rage of Nigerians and they directed it to Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission , who days ago called a Nigerian in diaspora an ‘Ode’ on social media .
Ode! You go to Indonesia, carry drugs, do cultism and come begging to be rescued from death sentence . Thank God for @ndlea_nigeria now saving people like you from death row, Abike Dabiri-Erewa wrote.
