Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP , have made a vow to remain in the party. This is after David Umahi defected to APC.
NAIJA NEWS NG reports that while speaking at the party’s National Secretariat, Wadata House, Abuja during PDP 90th NEC meeting, Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Tambuwal made this declaration.
“All 15 of us are here present. We are individually committed to good governance in our various states in order to make our party strong.
“This is a clear statement that we are united and working towards strengthening our party for the future,” Tambuwal said.
Governor Umahi of Ebonyi State had claimed he left PDP for APC because his zone was being marginalized.
