VIDEO : NIPOST Abuja Office Burnt

The Abuja headquarter of Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) was on fire this morning.

The fire broke out while a large number of the staff of the agency were still inside the building.

The fire which has been put out by firefighters, affected the second floor of the building located in the Garki area of the city. The Cable reported that before the arrival of fire fighters, residents and staff were seen throwing things including stones at the building in a bid to put out the fire.

This is happening barely a week after all members of staff of the agency were directed to resume work.
