Wht Federal Government Wants To Rearrest Sowore Today - AAC Reveals

Omoyele Sowore led African Action Congress (AAC) has alleged that there is a plot to have him and other party members rearrested today, Friday . 

NAIJA NEWS NG reports that the AAC is alleging that the Federal Government is plotting to have them arrested and locked up till the August 5 anniversary of #RevolutionNow protest is past.

The African Action Congress in a Tweet accused the Federal Government of planning to use the Department of State Service (DSS) to execute the arrest.

The AAC revealed that the grand plan is to arrest and lock up the party’s National Chairman and 2019 presidential flag bearer, Omoyele Sowore and other activists.

The party tweeted : “We have be informed about a plan to rearrest our National Chairman, Yele Sowore, and urge all Nigerians and AAC members nationwide and globally to be on alert as we will not tolerate another lawless and repressive act from Buhari regime.”

The Sowore led party has said it will not tolerate another lawless act from Buhari. You would recall that Sowore was unceremoniously arrested on the eve of the planned #RevolutionNow protest 10 months ago. He has since been in an unending legal battle with the Federal Government.

On Wednesday July 8, the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja didn’t hear his case seeking a variation of his bail conditions. It was scheduled for the adoption of the brief by parties involved in the case.

His lawyer, Marshal Abubakar was told upon arrival at the court that the case will not be heard because it was not listed .
